Synopse:
The collection Portuguese at the Tip of the Tongue brings an innovating proposal and it is tuned with the recent discussions about the teaching of Portuguese language. The inclusion of transversal themes, organized in modules, takes into consideration the youngsters interests, what can be verified through its choice texts and activities, whose aims are to contribute to the ethical construction among individual sharing the same space in a democratic society.

The texts are presented in units which follow a logic combining themes and textual diversity, creating thus a coherent and meaningful composition, where inter-textual relation, retakes and remissions operate.

Such activities respect the linguistic variation and enhance the importance of language suitability to the objectives of the narrator/writer, listener/reader. Reading activities, writing and linguistic knowledge are integrated harmoniously, either by activating communicative situation of the social context of language use, or by incentivizing the reflexion and construction of concepts, through observation and analyses.
