Unhappy with her own name, Maria Pollyanna - who prefers to called Ana - is in conflict with her Portuguese teacher, who during the roll call uses her real name. Simultaneously, some other problems are disturbing her: her parent’s divorce, her mother who is a homemaker and acts as a victim, not to mention her colleague Rodrigo, whose ironic green eyes engulfs her to a deaf battle.
